WORK EXPERIENCE

SEPTEMBER 2017 TILL PRESENT – Special educator at Sankalp- the Open School, a school for children with special needs

Developed and implemented IEP for each particular education student. Identified and implemented goals tailored to the student’s individual needs and abilities. Collaborated and Coordinated with parents, teachers, and teacher assistants to create a holistic platform for children with special needs. Established rapport with various service providers, including speech and occupational, for highly functional students who fall under the autism spectrum, developmental delays, and children with learning disabilities in resource classrooms.

  • March 8 – 2022: Distribute food to 250 peopleresiding on the platform in Ambattur, Vadapalani. Chennai on my son’s birthday.
  • December 25, 2021 – distributed food to orphanage children in Telangana, Khammam. I celebrated Christmas with them.
  • November 28, 2021 – Organized a fund-raising learning disability awareness walkathon for Sankalp – the open school to create awareness of learning disabilities. The chief guest was the Health Secretary of Tamil Nādu, Dr. J. Radhakrishnan.
  • August 15, 2021 – As a literacy chair, organized and coordinated India’s independence, donated ten laptops to children in Sankalp – the open school, a school for children with learning disabilities.
  • March 19, 2021 – Distributed sarees to 40 women living on the roadside, Ambattur – Chennai commemorating international women’s day.
  • February 14, 2021: Valentine’s Day celebration at SEVALAYA HOME, THIRUNINDRAVUR. Sponsored Annadanam and cake cutting for 150 inmates. A blissful experience.
  • January 14, 2021: Sponsored and distributed food packets to 50 people residing on the platform on Pongal near VadapazhaniMurugan temple, Chennai.
  • DECEMBER 23, 2020: Soulful Christmas celebration at hope public charitable trust located in Aminjikarai and Egmore Chennai. A full meal wasserved to around 100 mentallychallenged inmates of this orphanage ( boys, men, and women). Bamboo mats were also distributed. This was associated with Sankalp –the open school for children with special needs.
  • December 10, 2020 – Was invited as a speaker on international Human Rights Day. It was a virtual meeting held on the Zoom platform. The topic: Women empowerment.
  • November 14, 2020: DOUBLE DHAMAKA - SOULFUL Diwali AND CHILDRENS DAY celebration with 100 children at SEVA CHAKKARA ORPHANAGE, located at Choolai, Chennai – Tamilnadu. SPONSORED and Distributed sweets, savories, and crackers to these children and gave a motivational talk on the importance of education and safety.
  • November 8, 2020 – Invited as a speaker at RC Nanganallur on zoom. I spoke on “HOW TO OVERCOME THE INNER FEAR".
  • ANNA DANAM – SPONSORED LUNCH FOR 150 older adults on platforms- October 30, 2020.
  • Lead the project “TEJOMAYA,” a virtual celebration of dyslexia awareness month, in association with rotary district literacy team 2020-21 and SANKALP- THE OPEN SCHOOL, A SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS AND LEARNING DIFFICULTIES. Over 200 participants attended on zoom, and more than 500 views on Facebook. The eventwill be held on October 31, 2020.
